Building HeartStamp's organic growth engine from the ground up

HeartStamp is an early-stage startup making personalized greeting cards, printed and mailed or sent digitally. As their go-to-market growth partner, we built the SEO and AEO foundations, organized a fast-growing catalog, and shaped the funnels that turn searchers into buyers.

The Challenge

HeartStamp lets anyone design a one-of-a-kind greeting card in minutes, then have it printed and mailed or sent as a digital card. As an early-stage startup, they had a strong product and a catalog growing by the day, but no in-house growth team. They needed to get found in a crowded search space, keep thousands of cards easy to browse, and turn first-time visitors into buyers.

What We Did

A force multiplier for a lean team

We joined as HeartStamp’s go-to-market growth partner, working alongside the founders to plan and ship the work a full growth team would normally handle.

SEO and AEO foundations

Technical SEO across the site, structured data, and a clean, crawlable architecture, so Google can index the catalog and AI tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews can understand and recommend it.

A catalog that scales

We organized the catalog by occasion, recipient, style and tone, and built the mega menu and category structure around how people actually shop for cards. Every new card has a clear home, for shoppers and for search engines.

Content and organic funnels

Category and occasion pages with helpful copy and answers, built to rank for what people search and to lead them straight into creating a card.

Conversion and UX

Ongoing UX/UI reviews and conversion work across category pages, product pages and the path to checkout, so more visitors who find a card they love actually order it.

The Results

HeartStamp went to market with SEO, AEO and a scalable catalog structure in place from the start, instead of fixing it later. Every occasion has a page built to be found, and every page leads somewhere: to a card, a personalization, and an order.
