The Challenge
Echo Storytelling Agency has been telling stories for companies and families since 1999, with clients like lululemon, Microsoft and KPMG. Their website didn’t match the work. Built in 2010, it was dated, slow, and hard to navigate, with the portfolio and services buried. Every change needed a developer, so the site fell further behind the brand every year.
What We Did
Working from inside Echo’s team
We worked as part of Echo’s team for the rebuild, side by side with their marketing and creative teams, so every decision was made with the people who would run the site. Today, Echo is an ongoing Fadeaway client.
A modular site the team can run
We rebuilt the site on modern WordPress as a modular system: a library of flexible page sections that marketing and creative can mix and match to build new pages, case studies and campaigns without waiting on a developer.
A careful migration from the legacy platform
We moved years of content off the old 2010 build: dozens of portfolio projects, the full team directory, and the blog, rebuilt into a clean structure that’s easy to browse and easy to keep up to date.
A structure built around what clients buy
Three clear services (company stories, personal legacy, and storytelling training), a filterable portfolio, client logos, testimonials, and a team page that shows the people behind the work. The new site reads like the polished, editorial brand Echo is.
Ongoing Growth and Campaigns
The relaunch was the start. We keep growing the site with Echo’s team:
- SEO that lifted their search visibility, and now AEO work so tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews understand and recommend Echo
- Targeted landing pages for campaigns and ads, so paid traffic lands on a page made for it
- Conversion improvements across service and contact pages
- New features and sections as Echo’s offers grow
The Results
Traffic jumped after the relaunch and has kept climbing. The site is faster, search visibility is stronger, conversions are much better, and ads perform better now that every campaign has a page built for it. Just as important, Echo’s marketing team can launch new pages on their own, so the website finally keeps pace with the brand.
